Customers and consumers demand correct product information. Nowadays, producing and trading fruit and vegetable products is no longer possible without reliable and up-to-date information. Every fresh produce company is becoming increasingly data-driven.
The product information is therefore just as important as the product quality.
What is Frug I Com?
Frug I Com is a unique collaboration within the Dutch Potato, Vegetable and Fruit chain/ We focus on the use of electronic data exchange between the fresh produce links, through a uniform method of coding and labeling using electronic messages. This standard allows fruit and vegetable companies to optimally use information from the chain for, for example, order processing, product tracing, logistics optimization and quality improvement. All this results in a faster and more efficient fresh produce chain where fewer mistakes are made.
